【概况】

一、 研究所人员概况

目前中医工程研究所共有研究人员13人,其中学校终身教授1名,特聘教授2名,客座教授2名(清华大学和上海交通大学各1名),兼职教授2名(西安交通大学和上海超算中心各1名),专任教师6名。

二、研究方向

中医工程研究所自2013年成立至今,围绕人民健康的重大战略需求和国家战略新兴产业发展、经济结构转型升级的重大需求,充分发挥“原始创新”的优势,促进中医学与工程技术的深度融合,具有鲜明的传统医学与现代科学相结合的跨领域、跨学科特色,取得了丰富的学术成果。主要研究方向为:

1)中医诊疗仪器的研发与应用;

2)针刺手法参数的量化分析与标准化研究;

3)中医信息处理与可视化技术研究;

4)中医诊疗设备标准化研究;

5)医学图像处理与模式识别研究及应用;

6)医学智能检测与可穿戴式医疗仪器;

7)中医工程与医学大数据挖掘。

三、科研概况

1.科研项目

承担国家级科研项目30余项,在中医智能康复设备研发与应用、针刺手法参数的量化分析、中医药标准化研究等重大前沿领域取得了国内同学科领先水平的研究成果。其中,十二五国家科技支撑计划重点项目1项;十三五国家重点研发计划重点项目及课题3项;国家自然科学基金项目9项,其中面上项目6项,青年科学基金项目3项; 1226工程科技专项项目1项;第63批中国博士后科学基金面上项目(一等资助)1项,其余省市级科研项目20余项

2.科研成果

中医工程研究所成立以来,通过全体成员凝心聚力、攻坚克难,科研工作水平稳步提升,科技创新能力持续增强,在科研项目、人才培养、平台建设、成果转化等方面成绩卓著,得到了社会的广泛认可,先后获得各级别学术奖励和荣誉称号近9项。其中,国家教育部科技术进步(二等奖)1项;2024全国教育系统先进集体上海教育工会教育先锋号1项;上海市优秀发明金奖1项;教育部国家虚拟仿真实验教学项目1项;上海市虚拟仿真实验教学项目1项;国家教育部科技术进步、国家教育部科技术进步(二等奖)1项;上海中医药大学优秀教学团队1项;上海市浦东新区科学技术奖(二等奖)1项;生物医学工程大会优秀组织奖1项;上海中医药大学校长奖1项。

3.论文及著作

中医工程研究所师生发表的高水平论文逐年增加,共发表SCI、SSCI及中文核心期刊论文60余篇(《Biotechnology advances》),主要研究方向和内容包括针刺手法参数的量化分析、中医针灸临床疗效验证与机制研究、中医诊疗设备研发及标准化、电针参数量化研究等。其中,《艾灸疗法的生物物理机制初探(中国针灸,1996(10):17-19)获中国精品科技期刊顶尖学术论文领跑者5000(F5000)证书,该论文被国内外期刊论文引用次数达841次(数据截止202412)。研究所共获国家授权专利20余项;软件著作权10余项。先后制订了ISO国际标准《中医红外仿灸仪ISO国际标准(ISO 20493)》、世界中医药学会联合会团体标准《耳穴探测仪标准》及国家标准委员会《针灸技术操作规范第11部分:电针(GB/T 21709.11-2009)》等国际、国内标准,目前正在持续推进各项标准化工作。同时,还撰写并出版了《生物医学工程学科发展报告(2014-2015)》、《生物医学工程学科发展路线图》、《医疗器械科技前沿》等发展报告、内参及行业指南等。

先后主编《生物力学》(卫生部“十二五”规划教材),《医用物理学基础》(全国中医药行业高等教育“十二五”规划教材),《针灸器材学》(全国中医药行业高等教育十三五创新教材)等教材,并出版专著《砭术学》、《Evidence-Based Acupuncture》、《中医药在德国》3部。

4.社会任职

中医工程研究所所长杨华元教授现担任中国针灸学会针灸器材专业委员会主任委员;世界中医药联合会中医诊疗设备专业委员会副主任委员;世界中医药联合会中医适宜技术应用与评估专业委员会副主任委员;世界中医联合会煎药机专业委员会副主任委员;上海市传统医学工程协会副理事长;上海市专业标准化技术委员会委员;《中国针灸杂志》编委;《上海针灸杂志》编委等职务。刘堂义副教授为中国生物医学工程学会中医药工程分会副主任委员。高明教授为中国针灸学会针灸器材专业委员会副主任委员及秘书长、世界中医药学会联合会中医诊疗仪器专业委员会常务理事。同时,研究所有4名成员成为国际标准化组织/中医药技术委员会(ISO/TC 249)不同工作组的注册专家。此外,团队中许多年轻教师也在许多学会中担任常委、青年委员等职务。

四、发展方向

1)以国家重大科研项目为动力,推动中医工程学科发展,逐步形成一支具备转化思想和研发能力的队伍,为中医工程学科的发展打下坚实的基础。

2)加强与企业的横向科研项目合作,加快科研成果的转化,充分利用张江国家创新示范区的优势,制订和完善产学研合作方案,争取与2-3家大型企业建立紧密的产学研联盟。

3)进一步整合、协调多方资源,拟与上海超算中心、美国哈佛医学院、上海大学等单位开展交流合作,继续做好泰州中国医药城的合作,打破资源壁垒,将成果转化与产业基地紧密融合,实现生产实践、产业创新目标。

4)深入中医产品标准化国际合作,申报ISO中医医疗设备标准,强化以科技创新为动力,推进科技研发、标准研制和产业发展一体化,提升中医产品标准技术水平。

5) 积极推动中医院校内生物医学工程联盟建立,开拓各大中医院校之间的合作渠道,促进各中医院校共建、共享优势项目和实践基地。

6)主动落实上海市中医药传承创新发展三年行动计划,开展示范性互联网中医医院共性技术集成和示范性中医药AI场景项目建设;结合5G网络和人工智能等技术,针对慢性病、老年人等重点人群,开展中医健康管理服务与示范应用工作,构建涵盖可穿戴智能终端、家庭健康终端和中医健康服务机器人等设备的智能家居和智慧健康社区5G通信技术应用场景,开展中医健康管理服务场景下5G+人工智能移动医疗示范应用。

Our responsibilities

The Institute was founded in 2013. The Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering has focused on the major strategic needs of people's health, the development of national strategic emerging industries, and the transformation and upgrading of economic structure. It fully leverages the advantages of original innovation, promotes the deep integration of traditional Chinese medicine and engineering technology, and has distinct interdisciplinary characteristics of combining traditional medicine with modern science, achieving rich academic achievements. Our major responsibilities are as follows:

1. Research and application of traditional Chinese medicine diagnostic and therapeutic instruments;

2.Quantitative analysis and standardization research on acupuncture technique parameters;

3.Research on Traditional Chinese Medicine Information Processing and Visualization Technology;

4.Research on Standardization of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment Equipment;

5. Research and application of medical image processing and pattern recognition;

6.Medical intelligent detection and wearable medical instruments;

7.Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering and Medical Big Data Mining.

Our achievements

1. Research projects

Undertaking over 30 national level scientific research projects, we have achieved leading research results in major cutting-edge fields such as the development and application of intelligent rehabilitation equipment in traditional Chinese medicine, quantitative analysis of acupuncture technique parameters, and standardization research in traditional Chinese medicine. Among them, there is one key project of the 12th Five Year National Science and Technology Support Plan; Three key projects and topics of the 13th Five Year Plan for National Key Research and Development; There are 9 National Natural Science Foundation projects, including 6 general projects and 3 Youth Science Foundation projects; One 1226 engineering technology special project; One general project of the 63rd batch of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (first-class funding), and more than 20 provincial and municipal scientific research projects.

2. Scientific research achievements

Since its establishment, the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering has steadily improved its scientific research level and continuously enhanced its scientific and technological innovation capabilities through the concerted efforts of all members. It has achieved remarkable results in scientific research projects, talent cultivation, platform construction, and achievement transformation, and has been widely recognized by society. It has won nearly 9 academic awards and honorary titles at various levels. Among them, there is one second prize for scientific and technological progress awarded by the Ministry of Education of China; 2024 National Advanced Collective in the Education System; Shanghai Education Union Education Pioneer 1 project; One Shanghai Excellent Invention Gold Award; One national virtual simulation experimental teaching project of the Ministry of Education; One virtual simulation experimental teaching project in Shanghai; One National Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award and National Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress (Second Prize); One excellent teaching team from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; One Shanghai Pudong New Area Science and Technology Award (Second Prize); One Outstanding Organization Award at the Biomedical Engineering Conference; One President's Award from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

3. Papers and works

The number of high-level papers published by teachers and students of the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering has increased year by year, with more than 60 papers published in SCI, SSCI and Chinese core journals. The main research directions and contents include quantitative analysis of acupuncture manipulation parameters, verification and mechanism research of clinical efficacy of acupuncture and moxibustion, research and development and standardization of TCM diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, quantitative research of electroacupuncture parameters, etc. Among them, Preliminary Study on the Biophysical Mechanism of Moxibustion Therapy (acupuncture and moxibustion, China, 1996 (10): 17-19) won the 5000 (F5000) certificate as the leader of the top academic papers in China's high-quality scientific journals. The paper has been cited by domestic and foreign journals for 841 times (data up to December 2024). The research institute has been granted over 20 national authorized patents; More than 10 software copyrights. International and domestic standards such as ISO International Standard for Infrared Moxibustion Simulating Apparatus of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ISO 20493), the group standard of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies - Standards for Ear Point Detectors, and the National Standards Committee's acupuncture and moxibustion Technical Operation Specifications - Part 11: Electroacupuncture (GB/T 21709.11-2009) have been formulated successively. At present, various standardization work is being continuously promoted. At the same time, we have also written and published development reports such as Report on the Development of Biomedical Engineering Discipline (2014-2015), Roadmap for the Development of Biomedical Engineering Discipline, Frontiers of Medical Device Technology, as well as internal references and industry guidelines.

He successively edited Biomechanics (the textbook of the 12th Five Year Plan of the Ministry of Health), Fundamentals of Medical Physics (the textbook of the 12th Five Year Plan for higher education in the Chinese medicine industry nationwide), acupuncture and moxibustion Equipment (the innovative textbook of the 13th Five Year Plan for higher education in the Chinese medicine industry nationwide) and other textbooks, and published the monograph Bian Technology Evidence-Based Acupuncture》、 Three volumes of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Germany.

4. Social employment

Professor Yang Huayuan, director of the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering, is currently the chairman of the Professional Committee of acupuncture and moxibustion Equipment of the Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion Society; Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee for Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment Equipment of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine; Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee for the Application and Evaluation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Appropriate Techniques of the World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Vice Chairman of the Decoction Machine Professional Committee of the World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Vice Chairman of Shanghai Traditional Medical Engineering Association; Member of the Shanghai Professional Standardization Technical Committee; Editorial board member of Chinese Journal of acupuncture and moxibustion and Moxibustion; Editorial board member of Shanghai acupuncture and moxibustion Journal, etc. Associate Professor Liu Tangyi is the Vice Chairman of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering. Professor Gao Ming is the vice chairman and secretary-general of the Professional Committee of acupuncture and moxibustion Equipment of the Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion Society, and the standing director of the Professional Committee of TCM Diagnostic and Therapeutic Instruments of the World Federation of Chinese Medical Societies. At the same time, all four members of the study became registered experts in different working groups of the International Organization for Standardization/Technical Committee on Traditional Chinese Medicine (ISO/TC 249). In addition, many young teachers in the team also hold positions such as standing committee members and youth committee members in many societies.

Our ongoing activities

1. Driven by major national scientific research projects, promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine engineering discipline, gradually form a team with the ability to transform ideas and conduct research and development, and lay a solid foundation for the development of traditional Chinese medicine engineering discipline.

2.Strengthen horizontal scientific research project cooperation with enterprises, accelerate the transformation of scientific research results, fully utilize the advantages of Zhangjiang National Innovation Demonstration Zone, formulate and improve industry university research cooperation plans, and strive to establish close industry university research alliances with 2-3 large enterprises.

3.Further integrate and coordinate multiple resources, plan to carry out exchanges and cooperation with Shanghai Supercomputing Center, Harvard Medical School, Shanghai University and other units, continue to do a good job in the cooperation of Taizhou China Medical City, break down resource barriers, closely integrate achievements transformation with industrial bases, and achieve production practice and industrial innovation goals.

4. Deepen international cooperation in the standardization of traditional Chinese medicine products, apply for ISO standards for traditional Chinese medicine medical equipment, strengthen the drive for technological innovation, promote the integration of scientific and technological research and development, standard development, and industrial development, and enhance the technical level of traditional Chinese medicine product standards.

5.Actively promote the establishment of a biomedical engineering alliance within traditional Chinese medicine hospitals, explore cooperation channels between major traditional Chinese medicine colleges, and promote the joint construction and sharing of advantageous projects and practice bases among various traditional Chinese medicine colleges.

6.Actively implement the three-year action plan for the inheritance, innovation and development of traditional Chinese medicine in Shanghai, and carry out the common technology integration of demonstrative Internet traditional Chinese medicine hospitals and the construction of demonstrative AI scenario projects of traditional Chinese medicine; Combining 5G network and artificial intelligence technologies, we will carry out traditional Chinese medicine health management services and demonstration applications for key populations such as chronic diseases and the elderly. We will construct smart home and intelligent health community 5G communication technology application scenarios covering wearable intelligent terminals, home health terminals, and traditional Chinese medicine health service robots, and carry out 5G+artificial intelligence mobile medical demonstration applications under the traditional Chinese medicine health management service scenario.

Our staff

At present, the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering has a total of 13 researchers, including 1 tenured professor, 2 specially appointed professors, 2 visiting professors (1 each from Tsinghua University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University), 2 part-time professors (1 each from Xi'an Jiaotong University and Shanghai Supercomputing Center), and 6 full-time teachers.
