研究所概况
上海中医药大学、上海市中医药研究院骨伤科研究所筹建于1986年,1988年经上海市卫生局批准正式成立,由著名骨伤科专家石印玉教授担任首任所长。2000年,研究所“骨与关节病理实验室”通过国家中医药管理局评估,成为全国首批最高等级(Ⅲ级)的中医科研实验室。2001年,研究所整体并入上海中医药大学附属曙光医院,实现与医院骨伤科、曙光临床医学院中医骨伤科学教研室的资源整合,并于2005年成立“石氏伤科医学中心”,进一步强化了临床、科研与教学的协同发展。

研究所秉持“传承石氏伤科学术精华,培养中医骨伤创新人才”的核心理念,坚持“以临床为基础、科研为导向、教学为根本”的发展方针,致力于中医骨伤科的学术传承、科学研究和人才培养,推动中医骨伤学科的现代化与国际化发展。

研究方向与实验室建设
研究所聚焦“慢性筋骨病损防治”核心领域,主要研究方向包括:
1. 筋骨病损防治研究:骨质疏松症、肌少症、骨关节炎、脊柱源性疾病(颈痛、腰痛、坐骨神经痛等)的发病机制与中医药干预策略。
2. 石氏伤科学术传承与创新:伤科手法、练功疗法、经典方药的作用机制与现代化研究。
3. 筋骨生物力学与康复:筋骨功能评估、运动分析与力学调控研究。

研究所科研成果丰硕,近年来主持国家级及省部级科研项目140余项,包括国家科技攻关计划、863计划、973项目和国家自然科学基金等国家级课题40余项。代表性成果包括:
· 获部市级科学技术一等奖5项
· 研制中药新药1项并实现产业化
· 主持制定行业标准、指南及专家共识8项
· 发表学术论文850余篇,出版专著157部
· 获国家发明专利授权12项
· 主编国家级规划教材3部,建设国家级精品课程4项

The Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology
Institute Overview
The Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Shanghai Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), was established in 1986 and officially approved by the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau in 1988, with Professor Shi Yinyu, a renowned orthopedic specialist, serving as its first director. In 2000, the institute’s Bone and Joint Pathology Laboratory was certified as a Grade III Research Laboratory (the highest level) by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, making it one of the first TCM research laboratories in China to achieve this distinction. In 2001, the institute was fully integrated into Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of TCM, combining resources with the hospital’s Department of Orthopedics and the TCM Orthopedics Teaching & Research Office of Shuguang Clinical Medical College. In 2005, the Shi’s Traumatology Medical Center was established to further strengthen the synergy among clinical practice, scientific research, and education.

Guided by the core philosophy of preserving the academic essence of Shi’s Traumatology and cultivating innovative talents in TCM orthopedics, the institute adheres to a development strategy centered on clinical practice as the foundation, scientific research as the guide, and education as the cornerstone. Our Research Focus & Laboratory Facilities
The institute concentrates on the prevention and treatment of chronic musculoskeletal disorders, with major research directions including:
1. Musculoskeletal Disorder Research: Pathogenesis and TCM intervention strategies for osteoporosis, sarcopenia, osteoarthritis, and spinal disorders (e.g., neck pain, low back pain, sciatica).
2. Shi’s Traumatology Inheritance & Innovation : Mechanistic and modernization studies on manual therapies, exercise therapies, and classical herbal formulations.
3. Musculoskeletal Biomechanics & Rehabilitation: Functional assessment, motion analysis, and biomechanical regulation.
The institute is equipped with advanced research laboratories, including:
